Instructions
Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Rub chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 6–7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Step 3: In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 4: Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, stirring constantly until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5: Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir until well coated. Heat through for 1–2 minutes.
Step 6: Serve the cheesy pasta topped with sliced Cajun chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Storage Information
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a saucepan or microwave, adding a splash of milk or cream to loosen the sauce if needed. Not recommended for freezing due to the creamy sauce.
