Steak and Pepper Fries

Instructions

Step 1: Peel and cut the potatoes into fries, then rinse and pat them dry with paper towels.

Step 2: Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer and fry the potatoes until golden and crispy. Remove and season lightly with salt.

Step 3: Season the beef strips with paprika, black pepper, and half of the salt.

Step 4: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the beef strips for 4 to 5 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 5: In the same skillet, add butter, onions, garlic, and sliced bell peppers. Sauté until softened but still slightly crisp.

Step 6: Add soy sauce and the remaining salt to the vegetables, stirring well.

Step 7: Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss everything together for 2 minutes.

Step 8: Serve the steak and peppers hot alongside the crispy fries.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftover steak and peppers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the fries in a separate container to help maintain their crispiness.

Reheat the steak and peppers in a skillet over medium heat for a few minutes until warmed through. Reheat the fries in an oven or air fryer at 180°C for 5 to 7 minutes to make them crispy again.
