Step 1 Preheat the oven and bake the fries according to package instructions until golden brown and crispy. /n
Step 2 In a small bowl, combine chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. /n
Step 3 Toss the sliced steak with half of the seasoning mixture and 1 tablespoon olive oil until evenly coated. /n
Step 4 In a separate bowl, toss the shrimp with the remaining seasoning, lime juice, and 1 tablespoon olive oil. /n
Step 5 Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steak strips for 3–4 minutes until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside. /n
Step 6 In the same skillet, sauté the sliced bell peppers and onion for 4–5 minutes until tender and slightly charred. Remove and set aside. /n
Step 7 Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. /n
Step 8 Arrange the hot fries on a large serving platter and evenly sprinkle Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese over the top. /n
Step 9 Spoon the cooked steak, shrimp, and sautéed vegetables over the cheesy fries. /n
Step 10 Place the platter under the broiler for 1–2 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly. /n
Step 11 In a small bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, and hot sauce to create a creamy drizzle. /n
Step 12 Drizzle the sauce over the loaded fries and garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For best results, reheat in a 375°F (190°C) oven or air fryer until warmed through and crispy. Avoid microwaving if possible, as the fries may become soggy. Store sauce separately and drizzle fresh before serving.
