Step 1: Peel and cut the potatoes into fries, rinse under cold water, and pat dry thoroughly.
Step 2: Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or pan and fry the potatoes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and lightly season with salt.
Step 3: Season the steaks with paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Step 4: Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 5: Cook the steaks for 3 to 4 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove and let rest.
Step 6: In the same skillet, sauté the sliced onions and garlic until caramelized and softened.
Step 7: Spoon the caramelized onions over the cooked steaks.
Step 8: In another pan, fry the eggs sunny-side up until the whites are set and the yolks remain runny.
Step 9: Warm the cooked black beans in a small saucepan over low heat.
Step 10: Arrange the white rice, black beans, fries, steak with onions, and fried egg on serving plates.
Step 11: Garnish with chopped parsley and tomato slices.
Step 12: Serve immediately while warm and flavorful.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover steak, rice, beans, and fries in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Fried eggs are best enjoyed fresh.
Reheat the steak, rice, and beans in a skillet or microwave until warmed through. Reheat the fries in an oven or air fryer at 180°C for 5 to 7 minutes to restore crispiness before serving.
