step 1 Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F) or prepare a grill.
step 2 Toss chicken wings in olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
step 3 Bake wings on a lined tray for 35–40 minutes or grill until crispy and cooked through.
step 4 In a saucepan, combine BBQ sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, chili flakes, and lime juice. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
step 5 Once wings are cooked, toss them in the warm BBQ sauce until well coated.
step 6 Grill boerewors on medium heat for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
step 7 Serve wings and boerewors hot, garnished with lime wedges.
Storage and Reheating Tips.
Store leftover wings and boerewors in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat wings in an oven at 180°C (350°F) until warmed through. Boerewors can be reheated in a skillet over medium heat or in the oven. Add a bit of BBQ sauce while reheating to maintain moisture and flavor.
