Sticky Honey Garlic Shrimp with Fried Rice

Instructions

Step 1 In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, oyster sauce, garlic, and ginger.
Step 2 Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Step 3 Pour the sauce into the same pan and bring to a simmer.
Step 4 Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens.
Step 5 Return the shrimp to the pan and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
Step 6 In another pan, heat 1 tablespoon oil and scramble the eggs, then remove and set aside.
Step 7 Add remaining oil and sauté peas and carrots for 2–3 minutes.
Step 8 Stir in the rice and cook for 3–4 minutes, breaking up clumps.
Step 9 Add soy sauce, sesame oil, eggs, and green onions. Mix well and cook another 2 minutes.
Step 10 Serve the sticky shrimp over or alongside the fried rice.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftovers in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat gently in a skillet or microwave until warmed through.
Avoid overcooking shrimp during reheating to keep them tender.
Add a splash of water or sauce when reheating rice to maintain moisture.
