Instructions

Step 1 Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
Step 2 Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
Step 3 Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4 Add cabbage, carrots, and celery, and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes until slightly tender.
Step 5 Stir in the cooked chicken or tofu if using, followed by the cooked noodles.
Step 6 In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper.
Step 7 Pour the sauce over the noodles and toss everything together until well coated.
Step 8 Add bean sprouts and green onions, and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 9 Remove from heat and serve hot.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat in a skillet over medium heat with a splash of water or soy sauce to loosen the noodles.
You can also microwave in short intervals, stirring in between, until heated through.
Avoid overcooking during reheating to maintain the texture of the noodles.
