Sticky BBQ Pork Ribs

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).

Step 2: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

Step 3: In a small bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.

Step 4: Rub the ribs with olive oil and coat generously with the seasoning mixture on all sides.

Step 5: Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.

Step 6: Bake for 2½ to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat easily pulls away from the bone.

Step 7: While the ribs cook, prepare the glaze by combining the barbecue sauce, honey, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and butter in a saucepan.

Step 8: Simmer the glaze over medium-low heat for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally until slightly thickened.

Step 9: Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them.

Step 10: Brush the ribs generously with the barbecue glaze.

Step 11: Increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C).

Step 12: Return the ribs to the oven uncovered for 15–20 minutes, brushing with additional glaze halfway through cooking.

Step 13: For extra caramelization, broil for 2–3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.

Step 14: Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing between the bones.

Step 15: Serve with extra barbecue glaze on the side.
